Patsy and Hedy #101

At an airport gate, a wide-eyed, red-haired Patsy rushes forward calling out "Buzz! My darling Buzz!" — all while Hedy and another young woman look on with alarm, desperate to stop her from a heartbreak they can already see coming. Al Hartley's pencils, inked by Frank Giacoia and Joe Giella, give the scene a wonderfully charged energy that perfectly captures Marvel's 1965 romance comics at their most dramatically satisfying. Patsy and Hedy: Career Girls #101 is a charming slice of mid-sixties storytelling that fans of the series will find hard to put down.
