After a hearty dinner leaves him feeling stuffed, a young boy wakes up to discover his nose has swollen to ridiculous proportions—and a visit to the plastic surgeon only makes things worse. As increasingly absurd complications pile up, our hero finds himself caught in a slapstick nightmare where every "fix" leads to a new disaster.

Sandy and Spiderlegs spot what they think is a wealthy millionaire's lost dog and set out to return it for a reward—but when they finally gain entry to Hamilton Higgins' mansion, they find themselves swept into an unexpectedly glamorous evening with Higgins' daughter, Fifi, complete with dancing, refreshments, and a butler who's had a bit too much ginger ale. Things take a sharp turn when Mr. Higgins himself arrives home to find the uninvited guests in full swing.

Tubby's job feeding a movie lion seems like the ticket to stardom—until he accidentally brings the wrong big cat to school for a biology assignment, and his genuine way with animals becomes the only thing standing between his classmates and a genuine circus catastrophe. When the dust settles, Tubby's fearlessness earns him and his pal Patches something even better than a trip to the circus: proof that sometimes the best adventures find you when you're just being yourself.
