Pat the Brat is up to his usual mischief in this November 1956 Archie Series issue, and this time he's dragged poor Dad to the natural history museum. On the cover, the grinning little troublemaker has gotten his hands on a skeletal wing bone from an Archeopteryx fossil display, stretching it toward his wide-eyed father like a giant wishbone while cheerfully demanding, "Make a big, BIG wish, Daddy!" Samm Schwartz's expressive cartooning wrings every ounce of comedy from the scene — Dad's pained expression against the backdrop of the Fossil Room says everything about what a day out with Pat truly means.
