Pat Sullivan's Felix the Cat #37
In "They Can't Duck This One!", Felix the Cat finds himself in a chilly predicament, seeking shelter with a little help from his animal friends—only to return the favor by outsmarting a group of hunters. With his usual mix of charm and chaos, he navigates a darkened library, chases a slippery duck, and accidentally blasts holes in a fence, letting kids catch a free football game. Otto Messmer, handling every aspect of the art and writing, brings his signature whimsy and precision to this 1953 classic, with a cover by Messmer that captures the zany spirit of the tale.

Felix needs a warm place to sleep. Various animals help him out, and he returns the courtesy by misdirecting a crowd of hunters. He also tries to read a book in the dark, hunt an agile ducking-duck, and (with his errant shooting) blows holes in a fence that allows a group of kids to see a football game for free.
