The fourth and final volume of Paradis Perdu, subtitled Terres, brings this French fantasy series from Soleil to its conclusion with a cover as striking as any in the run. Two winged figures dominate the composition — a dark-haired woman in black with vast white wings and a sweeping crimson cape, and a golden-haired young man with great feathered wings reaching toward her against a luminous, sun-drenched sky. Created by Ange, Xavier, and Alexe, this 2006 album promises an emotionally charged resolution to a story that has always worn its mythological heart on its sleeve.
