Panhandle Pete attempts to impress Jennifer with a cardboard dinosaur prop, but she quickly sees through the deception. When Pete encounters a group of Native American braves whom he believes to be spirits, he flees in fear, only to discover they are actually people. Later, Pete sets up an elaborate baseball game display outside Jennifer's house to win her affections, complete with battle stations and dramatic action sequences. Throughout his misadventures, Pete's bumbling attempts at romance are undermined by his own foolishness and Jennifer's skeptical nature.
