Outsiders #46

Issue #46 of DC's Outsiders arrives in May 2007 with a cover that pits two heroes against the infamous Iron Heights prison. Matthew Clark's pencils and Art Thibert's inks frame a striking central scene: a masked hero in a dark costume channels crackling blue electricity into a downed opponent in street clothes, all set against the looming silhouettes of two larger figures that cast an ominous shadow across the composition. With Judd Winick scripting "Pay as You Go Part Three: Friends, Lovers & Other Strangers," the tension between allies and enemies feels palpable even before you crack the spine.
