Outlaws #6

Part of DC's eight-issue miniseries subtitled "The Legend of the Man Called Hood," this February 1992 issue captures the series' delightful collision of eras right on its cover: a green-cloaked, hooded figure on horseback squares off against a red-bandana'd biker, both wielding makeshift clubs in a wooded clearing. Luke McDonnell's cover art sells the absurd yet thrilling clash with confident linework, and the story chapter inside — "The Rose," written by Michael Jan Friedman — promises to keep the outlaw mythology rolling along at full gallop (and full throttle).
