Paul Azaceta's rain-soaked cover for issue #8 sets a mood that's hard to shake — a lone hooded figure stands in a downpour before a dimly lit gas station, while a massive, shadowy demonic form looms silently in the stormy sky above. The subtitle "A Vast and Unending Ruin" feels perfectly suited to that sense of isolation and lurking dread. Robert Kirkman and Azaceta's horror series continues to deliver some of the most atmospheric storytelling Image has to offer, with Elizabeth Breitweiser's deep blue and teal palette making every raindrop feel genuinely unsettling.
