Outcast by Kirkman & Azaceta #17

Paul Azaceta's cover for "The Damage Done" splits the composition strikingly in two — a young man's pale, haunted profile on one side, and a snarling, flame-red demonic figure clawing at the divide on the other. The tension between those two halves says everything about the horror at the heart of Robert Kirkman's supernatural series, where the human and the monstrous are always uncomfortably close. If you've been following Outcast, this seventeenth chapter looks like exactly the kind of confrontation the series has been building toward.
