Outcast by Kirkman & Azaceta #15

Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta's supernatural horror series delivers a haunting image in issue #15, subtitled "All Alone Now" — a lone figure in a hoodie stands braced in the center of an oppressive darkness, vast swirling shadowy tendrils coiling around him on all sides. The stark contrast between the small, vulnerable human and the encroaching black void makes for a deeply unsettling cover, rendered with moody precision by Azaceta and colored with atmospheric restraint by Elizabeth Breitweiser. If this 2016 Image/Skybound chapter is any indication, Kyle Barnes's world is getting darker and more isolated by the issue.
