From WildStorm's Cliffhanger! imprint comes Out There #5, where writer Brian Augustyn and artist Humberto Ramos deliver a tense, street-level tableau: four teenagers huddle together in obvious fear — a blonde girl, a young woman in a red bandana, a smaller kid with glasses, and a red-haired boy — while a smoking handgun lies ominously on the floor in front of them. The cover, inked by Sandra Hope, captures that suffocating moment of dread beautifully, with Ramos's expressive, kinetic style giving each character a distinct sense of panic and vulnerability.
