Out There #1

From WildStorm's Cliffhanger imprint comes this first issue of Out There, with a cover by Humberto Ramos (inked by Sandra Hope) that immediately announces the series' urgent, kinetic energy — two teenagers cling to a crumbling, debris-strewn ledge beneath a full moon, a menacing creature lurking in the shadows below them and a worn "LOST" flyer plastered among the wreckage. Ramos's expressive, rubbery linework gives the scene a nervous, propulsive feel that suits a 2001 WildStorm thriller perfectly. With Brian Augustyn writing and Sandra Hope inking, Out There looks like exactly the kind of edge-of-your-seat series that made the Cliffhanger banner so appealing.
