The opening volume of this charming series from Akihiko Higuchi brings together an unlikely pair against a breezy urban backdrop — a tall, pointy-eared elf with flowing blonde hair and a smaller dark-haired girl, both blushing and cupping each other's faces in an endearingly flustered moment as seagulls wheel overhead. The warm chemistry between the two characters radiates right off the cover, promising a slice-of-life comedy with genuine heart. If you're looking for something lighthearted and a little offbeat from Seven Seas Entertainment's 2024 lineup, this one makes a very appealing case for itself.
