Op oorlogspad #2
The second chapter of Op Oorlogspad arrives with a striking cover by Didier Pagot, depicting a lone pale-clad figure standing at the center of a roaring bonfire, encircled by warriors mid-dance — weapons and feathers raised against a deep night sky. The subtitle "Paha Sapa" signals a story rooted in the sacred Black Hills, and the tension between that solitary captive figure and the surrounding ceremony crackles with quiet menace. Marc Bourgne and Didier Pagot's 2019 Belgian-published Western continues to look like one of the more atmospheric entries in the genre.
