One World Under Doom #9

A desolate, dust-choked battlefield stretches across Ben Harvey's striking cover for this ninth chapter, with Doctor Doom standing resolute at its center, cape billowing behind him amid the ruins of what appear to be fallen heroes — scattered among the debris are recognizable helmets and masks, including those of Spider-Man, Wolverine, and others, rendered in haunting detail by Harvey's linework and David Curiel's sulfurous yellow palette. The sheer scale of devastation surrounding Doom makes this one of the series' most arresting images yet. Ryan North, R. B. Silva, and Curiel continue their ambitious run with "Chapter Nine: The White Sail of Her Soul," and if this cover is any indication, the stakes have never felt higher.
