Omar Super-Book of Comics #3
In "On the Trail of Sanjak," Milton Caniff delivers a taut, action-packed adventure set in 1944, where the hunt for stolen gold leads Pat and Terry to a remote island held by the enigmatic Sanjak. With help from a fierce dance hall girl driven by personal vendettas, the duo races against time to rescue April, while Sanjak's escape and the island's fiery end leave the fate of the treasure—and the truth behind the island's secrets—shrouded in mystery. The story, written and illustrated by Caniff in full, is a masterclass in pacing and atmosphere, with his distinctive art and lettering bringing the perilous journey vividly to life.

While the Baron and his henchmen, to recover his gold, pursue Sanjak, the evil lesbian, to her island where she holds April prisoner, Pat and Terry also go there, with assistance of a dance hall girl from the mainland, a former resident of Sanjak's household on the island, who hates her, and also hates The Weazel, the Baron's henchman who jilted her. Terry saves April while Pat holds off the Baron's men. Sanjak escapes; her house explodes.
