Marvel's "Old Man" universe expands to the cosmos with this 2019 series opener by writer Ethan Sacks and artist Robert Gill, colored by Andres Mossa. The cover by John Tyler Christopher presents a weathered, white-haired Peter Quill — leather coat, blaster in hand, battle-worn expression — standing before cracked machinery and a smoldering ringed planet, every detail radiating the quiet gravity of a man who has lived far too much. It's a compelling, unhurried portrait of Star-Lord at the far end of a hard life, and it makes a strong case for picking up the story inside.
