Issue three of this Marvel series delivers a cover that doesn't pull any punches: a battered, white-haired Hawkeye lies bloodied and screaming amid debris, pinned beneath the massive boot of a towering armored figure whose clawed gauntlet looms overhead. Marco Checchetto's artwork captures both the brutality of the moment and the old archer's defiant refusal to go quietly.
