Oktoknopie #3

The third installment of Gleever's Dutch all-ages series brings plenty of chaotic fun, with the cover — by Gleever — showing the big, grinning pink Oktoknopie character charging across an alien landscape while a hapless human passenger hangs on for dear life, surrounded by a crowd of mischievous little green creatures and a few scattering grey critters. The title "Deelt Uit" (meaning roughly "Deals It Out" or "Dishes It Out") perfectly captures the energetic, anything-goes spirit radiating from every corner of the image. A lively 2002 entry in this lighthearted Silvester series, colorized with eye-popping vibrancy by Wilma Leenders.
