From Hub's Okko series comes "De cyclus van het vuur II," the concluding chapter of the Fire Cycle, published by Silvester in 2012. Hub's cover — inked by Hub himself — presents a powerfully composed armored warrior seated in meditative stillness on a wooden balcony, dual blades in hand, flanked by paper lanterns bearing the series' salamander emblem, while cherry blossom petals drift through a green-tinged dusk. It's a beautifully atmospheric image that captures the series' blend of feudal Japanese aesthetics and brooding tension at its most striking.
