The issue includes "Oh, Sister!" in which a brother attempts to perform acrobatic tricks to impress his sister Ellen and her boyfriend, but his clumsy cartwheel and other attempts result in physical mishaps that embarrass rather than impress. Another story, "Oh, Brother! (Snow What?)" depicts the brothers trying to visit their friend Babs' house during a blizzard, only to be repeatedly blocked by their father from venturing out into the dangerous winter conditions.
Brother Blair sets his sights on getting a lock of movie star Guy Dearing's hair as a souvenir for his sister Babs, who's determined to own a piece of the famous actor visiting their town. With nothing but determination, a borrowed uniform, and some quick thinking, Brother attempts an elaborate scheme to reach the movie star's hotel room—but discovers that fame, like hair, doesn't always cooperate with a teenager's best-laid plans.
When Aunt Emily's telegram arrives announcing a same-day visit, the family scrambles to prepare the house—only to have Brother Blair accidentally break both a cherished wedding gift vase and a borrowed portrait that's supposed to replace it. As the chaos mounts and Aunt Emily arrives, a case of mistaken identity threatens to turn the whole elaborate cover-up on its head.
Brother Blair schemes his way out of a blizzard by disguising himself and faking a radio broadcast about a lost gold watch—all to convince his parents to let him shovel a path to Babs' house. When his clever trick backfires in the most unexpected way, he ends up staying the night, only to pull one more hilariously misguided move before the evening is through.
