Ogon #1

The opening chapter of Ogon arrives from Daedalus in 2023 with a cover that immediately establishes a rich, ancient world: a young warrior seated at the foreground, spear in hand, is flanked by a towering dark-skinned giant and a white-haired woman in ornate armor, all framed against a stepped pyramid rising through a hazy, bird-filled sky. Kyko Duarte's cover art — both penciled and inked by the same hand — brings a sweeping sense of scale and gravitas to this world of "Zul Kassaï." Writers Jean-Luc Istin and Dieter Van Tilburgh look to have crafted something genuinely ambitious here, and this first issue is a compelling invitation to find out what lies within.
