Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici's sci-fi series continues with a cover that masterfully contrasts the mundane and the monstrous — through an open doorway, warm pink light reveals two people in an intimate, vulnerable moment on a bed, while the surrounding room is cloaked in eerie teal darkness, cluttered with debris and loomed over by a massive, unsettling alien creature. De Felici's framing draws the eye inward toward that fragile human connection, making the encroaching otherworldly threat feel all the more menacing by comparison. Oblivion Song #2 is a striking reminder of why this 2018 Skybound/Image series announced itself as something genuinely compelling.
