O. Henry's The Cisco Kid #2
In "The Mission," the second issue of Moonstone’s O. Henry's The Cisco Kid, writer Jim Duffy and artist Jerry DeCaire deliver a tense, character-driven tale as Cisco recounts a painful past to Pancho, revealing how a betrayal by Lieutenant Sandridge shattered his trust. As night falls, Cisco’s attempt to rescue kidnapped children leads to his capture at a remote mission, where he faces the enigmatic Juanita Alonzo—only to be thrust into a new crisis when a group arrives to buy the children. The cover by Jerry DeCaire captures the mood of quiet dread and looming danger.
