The Sinister Jungle Myth: Chapter One: The Griffin: Real or Fable
7 pp

Nyoka faces a crisis when rival guide Degresy accuses her of breaking the hunting code by wantonly killing jungle animals—a charge that threatens her reputation and license. When a painter named Pierre Pastel bursts into her hotel with hair turned white from fright, he brings a painting of a massive, winged creature he encountered in the jungle, one that matches the description of a griffin from mythology. Now Nyoka must determine whether the legendary beast is real or merely fable, and prove her innocence before her twenty-four-hour deadline expires.

The Sinister Jungle Myth: Chapter Two: The Monster's Lair
6 pp
The Sinister Jungle Myth: Chapter Three: The Valley of Fear
6 pp

Nyoka pursues the griffins that have abducted Pierre into a treacherous jungle valley, descending into their hidden lair to mount a desperate rescue. Racing against time as the creatures begin to wake, she must use her wits and nerve to save both Pierre and Degreey before facing off against the monsters themselves. This chapter brings the sinister myth to a head as Nyoka confronts the source of the valley's dangers.
