The Kree/Skrull war continues to escalate. Surfer learns from the beaten Obliterator that the Elders are meeting on Earth to test a weapon that will kill Galactus. The Supreme Intelligence thinks that it ferrets out a traitor to the Kree but the wrong alien is killed and Nenora, a Skrull spy, remains high up in the Kree hierarchy. Preparing to travel to Earth, the Surfer and Mantis split up as Norrin receives a call of distress from Shalla-Bal.
