Nicholas Gurewitch renders this Dark Horse graphic novel in striking scratchboard-style black and white, the cover depicting a dimly lit study where a reclining figure rests on a chaise longue before a tall window — through which a bare, skeletal tree and a small distant figure are visible under a pale moon.
