Tetsuya Tsutsui's Noise continues to deliver seinen tension at its most unsettling with this third volume from Ki-oon. The cover image is quietly harrowing — a figure lies face-down among scattered, fragmented leaves, one outstretched arm reaching downward toward a partially visible second hand emerging from below, the stitched detail on their boot and the dirt-streaked skin suggesting something has gone very wrong. It's the kind of restrained, meticulously rendered composition that pulls you in before you've even opened a page.
