Nocturnals: The Sinister Path #2

Dan Brereton's Nocturnals: The Sinister Path continues with issue two of four from Dark Horse, and this cover is a gorgeous swirl of dark fantasy energy. A dark-haired woman in a wide-brimmed hat takes center stage amid drifting autumn leaves, flanked by a green-skinned, red-haired figure brandishing a pistol and a glowering skull-faced entity with bat wings, while a menacing horned demon and a hauntingly pale face loom in the blue mists behind them. It's a rich, painterly composition from Brereton that captures exactly the moody, supernatural atmosphere the Nocturnals do best.
