The fifth volume of this beautifully crafted Franco-Belgian series finds young Ninn riding atop a magnificent white tiger as they stride purposefully across an overgrown bridge, a misty, fantastical cityscape rising behind them — ferris wheel, towering stone heads, and all. The dreamlike palette of soft greens and warm oranges gives the whole scene a quietly epic atmosphere that's instantly inviting. A wonderful 2021 entry in this imaginative series from Darlot and Pilet.
