Ninja Boy #3

This WildStorm title from 2001 hits issue #3 with a cover that's pure kinetic energy — a shirtless, spiky-haired young fighter leaps across the backs of a charging stampede of horned bulls, arms outstretched, while a wild-eyed little creature clings along for the ride. Alé Garza's pencils and Dan Norton's inks give the whole scene a wonderfully fluid, manga-influenced energy that suits the "Belly of the Mantis" story title perfectly. Writer Allen Warner and the creative team look to be putting their hero through some seriously wild paces in this one.
