Part of DC's 2006 "One Year Later" initiative, this issue drops Dick Grayson — in full Nightwing costume, blue insignia blazing — face-to-face with a massive, snarling creature whose clawed limbs erupt from a blood-red void in all directions. Jock's cover work is visceral and beautifully composed, the overwhelming scale of the beast bearing down on a Nightwing who holds his ground rather than flinches. With Bruce Jones writing and Paco Diaz on interior art, "Yours, Mine, and Ours" promises exactly the kind of high-stakes tension that splash of crimson and teeth suggests.
