Nightwing #118
Part of DC's 2006 "One Year Later" initiative, this issue plants Nightwing firmly in New York City territory, as the cover by Jock makes dramatically clear — a pair of blood-spattered blue gloves grip what appears to be a torn red-and-white banner, with the Statue of Liberty looming large and ominous in the background. The image carries a real sense of weight and unease, hinting that Dick Grayson's return to action hasn't exactly been a clean one. With Bruce Jones writing and Joe Dodd on interior art, "The Gang's All Here" sounds like exactly the kind of street-level trouble that suits Nightwing best.
