A descendant visits an ancient family vault in Scotland only to learn a chilling local legend: centuries ago, the valley held not Christian graves, but a burial ground for the legendary Shoggoths—monstrous beings said to have once roamed the hills. When the visitor and his friend Jose Cardona decide to investigate the site and dig for evidence of these creatures, they uncover far more than they bargained for in the darkness. Written by Al Hewetson with art by Jose Cardona, this tale of subterranean horror taps into Lovecraftian dread to explore what lies buried beneath Scotland's earth.

In a schoolroom daydream, Walter Thurber slips into the ancient past of Crete, where he witnesses—or perhaps *is*—Darbaras Doom, a warrior-god born from the dust to overthrow the tyrannical Queen Melinia. What begins as a heroic mission to liberate an oppressed kingdom takes a dangerous turn when Darbaras falls under Melinia's spell, blinding him to the suffering around him and the lies she weaves to keep him at her side. As the line between the boy's fantasy and a deeper, stranger reality begins to blur in the schoolroom, something far more sinister emerges from his fevered imagination.
