“Ghosts on the Tracks, Part 1 of 2: And Kurt Hopped the A Train...”

Kurt Wagner clings to the side of a speeding train, his blue fur and glowing yellow eyes catching the harsh tunnel lights as sparks fly from the metal beneath him — it's a kinetic, perfectly composed cover by Greg Land and Matthew Ryan that puts Nightcrawler's agility front and center. This fifth issue from writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Darick Robertson kicks off a two-part story promising underground thrills, with that subway setting lending a gritty, urban edge to the X-Men's resident swashbuckler.
