“The Winding Way, Conclusion”

In "The Winding Way, Conclusion," Nightcrawler faces his most personal trial yet when Wolverine falls under the demonic influence of Hive, forcing Kurt to confront his closest friend in battle. With the Soulsword as his only weapon, Nightcrawler uncovers a haunting truth about his past—his stepbrother Stefan was also once possessed by Hive—bringing long-buried guilt into sharp focus. Written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and illustrated with striking intensity by Darick Robertson, this pivotal issue closes a powerful arc with emotional weight and quiet resolve. The cover, also by Robertson, captures the moment’s tension in bold, dynamic lines.
