Nickel Comics #5 is an anthology featuring two main stories: "Bulletman to the Rescue," in which the superhero Bulletman races to stop a mob from infiltrating a new city hall that the corrupt contractor Leo Durgan has rigged as a death trap, and "Jungle Twins," in which brothers Bill and Steve Dale search for their long-missing twin sister Janna in Africa, rescue her from a giant ape, and battle giant spiders before destroying the Spider Kingdom and escaping by ship.
