Nick Fury #6

Issue six of this 2017 Marvel series leans into pure espionage atmosphere, with ACO's striking two-tone orange cover placing Nick Fury's intense, eyepatch-bearing face front and center alongside a brooding castle perched atop a jagged cliff beneath a bold sun. The minimalist palette and graphic design sensibility give the whole thing a mid-century spy thriller feel that suits the series beautifully. With a story titled "The Return to Ravenlock Castle Caper," writer James Robinson and the creative team of ACO, Hugo Petrus, and Rachelle Rosenberg are clearly delivering something with style to spare.
