Warren Ellis and Salvador Larroca's Newuniversal continues its ambitious reimagining of Marvel's superhero mythology with this fifth issue, subtitled "Mystery." The cover — penciled by Larroca — is bathed in deep violet, dominated by a vast, calm sea and a strange floating platform from which brilliant streams of energy burst skyward; a levitating figure with flowing hair watches from above, while a powerful, muscular figure looms in a side panel against a cosmic backdrop.
