New Suicide Squad #15
The cover of this February 2016 issue from Sean Ryan, Philippe Briones, and Blond tells you everything you need to know about the Squad's precarious situation: a terrified young woman is surrounded by a grinning, red-haired masked figure, a grim man in a knit cap leveling a gun, and two heavily armored threats looming from the shadows, all of them bathed in the eerie green glow of a laptop screen. Juan Ferreyra's cover art crackles with tension, packing five figures into a claustrophobic composition that makes the stakes feel immediately personal. "Freedom" is the story title, and given what's unfolding on this cover, that word carries some serious weight.
