This December 2015 installment of New Suicide Squad arrives with a striking cover by Juan Ferreyra, bathed in a tense yellow-and-teal palette that sets the Squad against a chaotic urban rooftop battlefield. A massive, snarling beast towers over the scene while figures armed with hammers, rifles, and bladed weapons fight their way through a warren of crumbling buildings under heavy fire from multiple gunmen. With Sean Ryan writing and Philippe Briones on interior art, issue #13 — titled "Freedom" — looks to push Task Force X to the absolute edge of survival.
