StackaleeOl' Scratch (the Devil)Katrina

In a smoky honky tonk bar in New Orleans, Ol' Scratch—wearing the body of a woman named Katrina and draped in a blue dress—dares Stackalee to a test of wills, snatching his hat and provoking him. As the night unfolds, the patrons rally behind Stackalee, driving the dark presence back, but the storm of reckoning is only beginning. When the hurricane named Katrina finally arrives, it’s Stackalee who stands guard, shielding the bar from the flood and fury.

In the quiet aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, an older man wanders the streets of New Orleans, drawn by the sound of a saxophone and the news on a radio. He asks to borrow the instrument, and as he begins to play, the music draws in the street musician and passersby, turning a moment of silence into a shared, unexpected melody.
