Martin Simmonds delivers a dreamlike cover for this 2021 Hellfire Gala tie-in, painting a swirling portal of blue and violet where several New Mutants figures — including a glowing, intense presence on the left and what appears to be a spectral white-haired figure on the right — emerge from the psychedelic haze. A lone figure stands with their back to us in the foreground, champagne glass in hand, gazing into that vivid vortex of teammates and strangeness. With Vita Ayala writing and the Hellfire Trading Company seal prominently stamped on the cover, "Party of the Century" promises a Gala issue with a wonderfully unsettling undercurrent.
