New Heroic Comics #91 is an anthology featuring true stories of heroism. "Gamble Award Hero" chronicles Louis A. Butler, a railroad machine helper from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who saved a fellow railroader from being killed by a train and was awarded a bronze medal by the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission. "Raw Courage" recounts Lieutenant Herbert Dudley's extraordinary bravery during a full-scale armored-infantry attack near Carano, Italy, where he cleared a seventy-five-yard minefield by hand, led disorganized infantry platoons through the cleared field, and repeatedly exposed himself to intense fire to aid wounded soldiers, ultimately being promoted to Master Sergeant and becoming a combat infantry tactics instructor.
