New Heroic Comics #44 is an anthology publication featuring stories of heroic men and women performing daring actions in hazardous situations. The visible pages show at least two stories: one involving a robbery in progress where a woman alerts police and a man pursues the fleeing criminal on bicycle and foot through city streets, and another about a woman named Mrs. Skillin who performs a water rescue, diving to retrieve her younger brother who has clung to her feet while they struggle in the water at a wharf, ultimately bringing him safely to the surface where rescuers await.
