This anthology issue contains two illustrated adventure stories. "She," adapted from H. Rider Haggard's novel by Eiven Liven, follows a white woman's encounter with a barbaric festival and blood-thirsty tribe in Kôr, where she witnesses mummies hoisted on poles and a demon-possessed savage demanding blood sacrifice. "The Monastery of the Blue God" features Captain Douglas Stewart, assigned to intelligence service in Peking, China, who travels to Marseilles with Baroness Elsa von Saxenberg and others seeking a fortune in sapphires and investigating the mysterious Blue God Men-A-C-E-S organization, with Stewart persuading a woman named Elsa to rest at a hotel before their sailing departure.
