Nemesis Forever #3

There's something genuinely unsettling about Matteo Scalera's cover for this third issue — Nemesis, the white-suited villain with a gas mask hanging around his neck, sits reading a book to a circle of enraptured children in what looks like a ruined, dimly lit warehouse. The warm glow behind him and the kids' delighted expressions create a deeply strange contrast with everything we know about this character. Mark Millar and Scalera are clearly having a lot of fun playing with that dissonance, and it makes this one of the more intriguing covers of 2025.
