Negative Burn #5 brings together an impressive roster of talent — Bruno Auriema, Brian Bolland, Michel Fiffe, Dean Haspiel, Phil Hester, and many more — for another anthology showcase from Image/Desperado in 2006. Tomislav Tikulin's cover sets a wonderfully atmospheric tone: a lone armored warrior, sword and shield in hand, stands silhouetted against a blazing golden light at the end of a vast cathedral-like corridor, surrounded by skeletal remains and ancient weapons.
