Navy Patrol #4

A naval task force is assigned a four-day mission to clear enemy mine fields before a major invasion, but the operation is complicated by internal conflict when a new engineering officer takes command and attempts to enforce discipline among the experienced crew of the ship's engine room, known as the "Black Gang." The crew, accustomed to their previous commander's trust, resents the new officer's harsh authority and struggle to maintain respect for their duties as they carry out the dangerous wartime operation.
